Congratulations to one of our Year 4 pupils who completed a 30.27 mile bike ride at the weekend and has raised £548 to date for the Cavernoma Alliance. Well done!
Below is their account of their bike ride.
Year 5 have been busy making more artwork including Rosie whose enchanting Caribbean dancers are inspired by Bernard Hoyes – you can almost hear the music!
In this Monday’s assembly Mr Adorian laid down some beats and set challenge for our pupils to create their own lockdown rap, song or poem and our pupils stepped up to the mic.
We have been amazed and entertained by all your entries, such a talented bunch of artists. Well done!

Just like all of you, Beau has been up to all sorts. This has got to be one of my favourite pictures though – his cheesy chicken strips!

Beth – What fantastic well designed biscuits – look closely and see which pictures you can identify! My favourite had to be the duck!
Owen – fantastic experiment of the egg drop with your brother in Year 5!
Alana – great range of learning with a science video, maths learning and parables. I loved the magical ride your bubble story took me on, especially when I met a mermaid!
Harry has been really busy – Last weeks Harry’s Bubble story took us to the moon and included some wonderful language!
Luc has been busy in his garden and is presently growing asparagus! He sent in his diagram of a plant with a great explanation of photosynthesis!
Samuel has been busy getting on with MNP, handwriting and producing quizzes. Fantastic!
Sean – Love your presentation on the Valley of the kings – and I know who the first pharaoh was to be buried in the Valley of the Kings!
Frank has been busy being a plant detective, creating an eye catching and informative piece of work on places to visit for his Christchurch Topic as well as responding to the parable to the Lost Sheep. Well done!

One of our Year 3 pupils would like to share and demonstrate the stair shuffle with everyone at CJS. You can do it inside or outside as long as you have steps and are careful.
Tylah has been busy doing a science experiment looking into what liquids do to calcium whilst Lewis has been creating a Valley of the Kings Fact File. Well done to you both.
Harry K has been doing really well on the recorder. He has gained his yellow belt. Congratulations Harry.
