Welfare

Our Pastoral Care Worker is Mrs Cowling.

The Pastoral Care Worker’s Role:

  • To listen and talk to children who may need help or support with a variety of pastoral issues
  • To work with staff in ensuring good pupil support
  • To provide encouragement and support to parents

How to see the Pastoral Care Worker:

Mrs Cowling is available to all pupils and parents.  Any child can see the Pastoral Care Worker by asking their teacher or Mrs Cowling herself to arrange a suitable time to meet. Teachers may also refer a child if they feel that it may be helpful to them.  Parents who are concerned about their child may contact Mrs Cowling by telephone or email or may request an appointment to see her personally.  It is often possible to see her before or after school with an appointment by enquiring at the office.  (Telephone number 01202 485579).
